Conventions: Fanime, Anime Expo, AWA, Nebraskon!

Meg:It's been a looong time since we've updated, so we apologize! ^^ We'll be getting a bunch of things up and running, one of which will hopefully be tutorials. So keep an eye open for those. We thought we'd go over the awesome experiences we've had at the conventions!

Fanime 2011

Meg: First time ever going and totally want to return! I LOVED this con! The people were great, the area was beautiful and the cosplays were sooo cool! We ran into an awesome girl who even helped us set up our booth! I wish I had all my contact info so I could post her dA icon, but you know who you are, Kat. ;3 I wasn't able to buy much, but my sis did surprise me with a beautiful Queen's Blade Perfect collection artbook--yay!!! We also got asked to join the Anime Angels artbook project! I'll get a link for that too soon! ^^

Anime Expo 2011

Meg: Again, we were first timers--not only for Expo, but for LA as well! The city was amazing! I loved it! X33 If you want great deals on anime goods and to take lots of beautiful pics of cosplayers, this is the con to visit! Everyone should go at least once, if even you're not anime fan , you should go for the experience! It's fantastic! The Miku Hatsune concert was unbelievable! Although, some of the crowd was rowdy. We actually had to rescue a Miku sitting next to us who was getting harassed. D= We chaperoned her after the concert back to the convention center to make sure she got back to her friends safely. And, I got to meet my awesome and long time friend It was fun to finally hang out with you, Trin!!!

Anime Weekend Atlanta

Meg: Going for the AA was one reason, but another was to meet my kick-A friend for the first time in over 10 years! And hang out with my awesome friend ! We only get together for cons, which is kinda sad, but always have a blast together! We All had sooo much fun!I met a lot of amazing people here, too! Fellow cosplayers, artsists, FMA fans and even Todd Haberkorn--thanks to ! >w< It was so cool talking to the both of them!

Anime Nebraskon

Meg: LOVED it! The people were so kind and helpful and great to talk to! We had amazing neighbors too! One had beautiful Lolita hats and the other had irresistibly cute mugs, T-shirts and chibi goods! It may not be as large as the others, but equally fun; there's no doubt about that! O= I really want to go again next year! I met amazing cosplayers here too! One of which was a fellow Queen's Blade fan and she was dressed as Lilliana! >w<
